Overview

Browsers show “Not Secure” when a website is not using a valid SSL certificate or has mixed content.

Common Causes

  • No SSL certificate installed.
  • SSL certificate expired.
  • Website still loads over HTTP.
  • Images or scripts load over HTTP.

Fix

Install SSL, force HTTPS, and update mixed content links.
